Quiz Night

Saturday 29th September  2007

Many thanks to Lucy and her small team for helpers for all the hard work they put into the very successful quiz night. We raised a good sum of money (amount to be confirmed) which will all help towards the funding of our society. Future events are planned, so please check back for details.

 

Summer Garden Party 2007

This years summer garden party is on Sunday 29th July at the home of Will & Janet.

£7 adults, £4.50 under 10's (payment in advance to Will & Janet)

Bring chairs and swimmers if you wish, and pray for some sunshine!

Many thanks to Will and Janet for hosting yet another fantastic garden party, the food was excellent and surprisingly

the weather was very kind this year - many people headed to the pool to cool off !!

Centenary Dinner Dance October 2004

Wallington Operatic's most recent event was the Dinner Dance at Coulsdon Manor on 9th October 2004. The event organisers had spent the best part of 18 months planning the event, and the evening was the final event of our Centenary Celebrations. Earlier in the year a Gala Reception was held between the matinee and evening performances of Hot Mikado where the buffet laid on was very kindly provided by society President Brian Lay. In July Ken and Ros Rokison opened up their beautiful house and grounds to host a Garden Party, a further garden party was kindly hosted by Will and Janet Harris; despite the rain, bathing suits were donned and pools were used!
